it happened. to me. yesterday.
i was the VIP server for Wedding Dinner at work yesterday night. to think me and my colleagues were toking bout VIP servers during the day (i worked 14 hrs yesterday). i thought my Manager was kidding with me when he wrote "VIP" next to my name. i still gave him the "yea, right" face and look. it was until cocktail when i knew he wasn't joking.
when he called for the queue of shortest to tallest, i went to the front without asking. but he told me to stand aside, for i will be the VIP. *gasp!*
people were saying that serving VIP's very easy and relaxed, but i think otherwise. probably i'm not used to it ba. my other partner serving the bridal table's SUPER FAST. i can't catch up. so can't the others. i was so slow that my manager and the storeman had to help me pick up my food and help me portion (1 course) . see? told you i wasn't cut out for VIP servers.
but my colleagues assured me that i'll do beta with more practice. yea right. who wud wanna choose a shortie like me who cant serve fast and well? >.<
but it's an historical event. my first time serving VIP. lalalala~
no disputes and conflicts (or even fights) in my current working place please. thank you.
please stay away from me. i dun wan anything to do with u. u're my jinx.

woo hoo!! NRA's Dance Camp's coming! i juz hav a feel that it'll be damn hiong and fun. =) it's a 3 day 2 nights. hmm. havta pass my dad first. haiz..
peeps are being pulled out from our super junior class and stick into the senior's class. *STRESS* Ann's (our hot instructor) choosing ppl to go to the next class every lesson. the atmostphere is SOOOOO tense. omg.
i juz browsed thru our senior's photos. they're so harmonious together. haiz. wonder if our batch can be the same. i doubt so. even if will, we'll nid a great deal of time i guess.
mon we've to pay $10 bucks. ARGH~ money money money.. my "debts" are pilling up again. *NO*! i muz pay it off. not tat i dun hav the money. it's juz tat i hav to put into the stupid bank and transfer. cos i dun see em often.haiz.
i'm determined to go for the Mon Hiphop class and Wed Jazz FUnk class. though each class will cost me $2. *BOING*. nvm. it's worth it. =)

We Learn As We Grow (Go)
i've learnt quite a few things, especially yesterday on the bus from tanjong pagar to NP.
Did You Know?...
- There is a road named Middlesex in Singapore?
- There is a condominum/private property named Carlton Terrace? (for the benefits for Carlton Hotel employees.lol)
- That Holland Road almost seems never ending
- That i believe Holland Road might have the most condominums there.
- That the engine and sound of SBS Buses and TIBS Buses differ.
i guess that's quite a fair bit. but i shocked my fren Menreet when i told her i could know what bus the other party is on by juz hearing the engine of the bus THROUGH the phone. lol. she scolded me mad anyway. haha..
and i got my "hypothesis" rectified when i observed the engine sounds and then asked my fren if she was on a TIBS bus. then she went :"How you noe?!". lalala~ i'm so proud of my this talent. haha...

what a crammed weekend. i worked for... 33 hrs, equilivilant to 1980 minutes or 118 800 seconds over the weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) at banquet. Furthermore, i broke my record of working for 16 hours on Friday. Yes, my legs and feet were almost "dislocated" from my body at the end of the day as i couldn't feel them anymore. to think my manager wanted me to do OT till 2am. Fat hope man!
Sunday, 18th September was a hot favourite for couples to hold their weddings for it's the 15th of the 8th Lunar Month. Mid Autumn Festival. M Hotel itself had 5 weddings that fateful day. that's when all of us had to work 12hrs, or 13.
after that 3 days, i've the premonition of the invasion of the flu bug, as i din hav enuff rest and water. lalala~ muz take care le lo..
this week is still packed with work and stuff.
next week, i shall squeeze 1 day to go swimming and meet up with some old frens. and not to forget go TKD training la~~ >.<

i'm getting fatter and fatter day by day. . . . serious. fats are bulging at my tummy and screaming for victory.
i wanted to go swimming soon but kept procrastinating. decided to go swimming today but my dearest "aunt" decided to pay me a visit yesterday. great man.
to add on to my fat-ness, although me and the GEMs juz had BBQ and steamboat buffet that day, i juz had it again. at marina bay with my mom and her colleagues. met a fren of hers. damn funny la~ we'd agreed to go K next week le. =)
tml working 7am to 11pm. May God Bless Me... and my legs.. >.<>

Why "Singapore's First", "Singapore's Best", "Singapore's No. 1"? But i did not hear the emcee or anybody else mentioning "Ngee Ann Polytechnic" at all. I hope i am not mistaken that the fabulous cheerleading troupe that performed at Suntec City Convention Hall 601 this evening was Magnum Force.
Why there was no mention of our school's name? I have no idea. Even some of the passerbys and audience know that they are from NP, or even know their name. And i was happily doing advertisement for our school team. But i seriously don't understand why there wasn't any mention of it. Was it because the event today wasn't any competition or that the performance wasn't big and worthy enough to mention? I'm totally clueless.

had a great meal with the GEMs at "Yuki no Yaki" at Cine. it's a Seoul Garden similar plaCe, but there's Ice Cream Buffet as well, with just an additional charge of $2 per pax to your buffet charge of $18.90. worth it rite? and mind you, the ice cream you've to "cook" it. it's in liquid form, you have to put it on the cold pan to "cook" it. then you can scrape it up and shove it into your mouth. Meiyi kept getting tricked by me and Evie that the pan is hot. lol.
we took pics of it. will upload and update again! =)
think the waiter muz be thinking "These 3 gers can really eat.. Especially the smallest sized one." tat's me. lol. Meiyi ate so little la~
peeps (other frens and all), next time we can go there and have our own feast k? =)

haiz. juz finished this pathetic, hectic semester then i fall sick. damn.
after several late nights rushing projects and assignments and work till the wee hours, my body went on a strike. i'm down with flu.
thank goodness it's after my deadlines. if not i'll be dead as a line (ok not funni. lol.)
seems like many ppl are sick. do take care ok guys! i muz also get well soon, becos i wanna enjoy my 2-mths holiday! HOLIDAY!!~~~
been stoning at home and watching FULL HOUSE (proudly sponsored by Miss Woo) lol -- it's DAMN NICE can -- by RAIN and Song Hui Qiao (Chinese Hanyu). it's the most funniest and touching drama tat i ever came across. Rain's always amusing the audience with his "slit eyes" and hot body. lol. I agree with MeiYi. His hot body doesn't really match with his cute face. But well, he's RAIN. haha..
those who love comedies and korean dramas, FULL HOUSE is a must get! =)
hmmm, after putting watching the 24-CD Korean Drama to an end, i shall embark on my Long Vacation once again. =) LV HERE I COME! (not Louis Vuitton la). lol (scarly i spelt it wrongly =.= )

not bad la.. renovated. nth changed much. juz the interior and the exterior of the front building. however the STAFF CHANGING ROOMS and BACK ALLEY (aka back lane) din change. AT ALL. bleah. lol. many ppl are still there, Dennis Ng, Ming Hong, Kelvin Tan, Rosli, but my favourite captain Mohd Shah and tat stupid China duck (guess who?) not there le. lol. anyway i DUN wish for him to COME BACK. eeks. .><
but after since i went to the Big M, no place seems to be nicer than there le. guess the welfare,place and ppl makes it all. i've been psycho-ing Huiying to join me there. she's more or less convinced le. lol.
taking bout ppl, met Mark at MM tat day. i realsed that i juz knew him. he can really talk non-stop la~ even more powderful (intended) than gera. lol. but he's my jinx. after seeing him i sick le.lol. kidding la.

oh no. i screwed up.
i'm so stressed up with all my projects and assignments which are all due tis week, and this is onli the first year, first semester. oh great.
finally finished our Speech Final Presentation this morning. i was so freaked out yesterday that i slept at 1+ after trying to de-stress by watching
thus, i over slept. nonsensically, i knew that i was late and that i over slept. i was wondering why din my alarm ring and why it took so long to ring. i only woke up with a start when i saw the Daybreak.
my mom was nice to make me a bread and i washed up, got changed and stomped outta the house. thank goodness i'd already prepared my stuff and packed my bag yesterday nite. =)
"There's no sch today rite?" commented by the father in the lift.
oh yea. it's Teachers' Day.
and it actually has a HUGE impact on the society and the traffic.
- the buses are rather empty, even double-decked ones.
- the traffic's rather loose (no jams)
- no morning-jams in CTE! (miracle!)
- taxis are easy to hail =)
see? there're much more to go...
the uncle's really nice, he let me eat my bread on his taxi, and told me to go ahead and eat without any worries =)
i also did my light make-up there. lol.
he's driving skills are superb k! no bumps and jumps, a super smooth ride! =)
and we arrived sch at 7.30am. onli a half an hour ride =) but it cost me a whole $15 >.<
